Athena has joined a new select team, Seattle Fast Pitch Club, the 10U "Havoc". This is a sentimental move for us, since SFC was Heather's introduction to the world of competitive fast pitch softball. I am excited to start the season.
In addition to Athena's SFC fun, she has Little League. Heather is playing in high school (starting catcher!) and with her select team, Washington Hustle. Even more exciting, if Hannah can get all her paperwork in, she gets to play softball for the first time this season as well! It will be three girls in softball on five different teams at once! That sounds like fun, right?
In UW Softball news, the Huskies won their season opener. Ace Danielle Lawrie pitched a perfect seven-inning game AND got a homerun, going 2-for-3 and getting two runs scored and an RBI. Not bad, eh?
