For those of you who aren't paying attention to D1 softball, perhaps you should know that UW Husky softball team is #1, going 15-0 today against (my school) Seattle University. I would love it if the Underdogs had beaten the Big DAWGS, especially since SU is soon to be my alma mater, and is in it's first year back at D1, BUT...I am happy that UW is doing so well. Heather's mentor, Amanda Fleischman, is on the team. She hasn't gotten a lot of play time this year yet, but what she has made the most of what she had. (She scored the winning run, 1-0, against #2 Florida).
