Softball season is in full swing!

Heather's softball season started. This year she is in Little League (the A's) and also on a select team, the Issaquah Flame. The Flame team is made up of her friends and teammates from previous All Stars teams. This year she is trying a new position: catcher! She likes it so much that she now considers all other positions "boring". Last year she played mostly short stop and third base.

Last weekend we went to the first tournament in Pasco, WA with the Flame team. Heather caught for 6 games with only two innings out. She was one tired cookie by the end. The Flame lost 5 of 6 games, but Heather did a good job. She even got a nice line drive into right field off a former teammate (from last year's ASA team, Seattle Fast Pitch).

On Monday we thought she would be tired of softball, but she had a Little League game. She went 3 for 3, had 4 RBI's, threw a runner out trying to steal second and stole home. It was quite an outing!

Here is a picture of her Flame team.
